What an upgrade involves
We start by looking at the panel you have, what it powers and what you want it to handle in the future. From there we recommend the right size and layout and talk you through the options.
On the day of the work, power is off for part of the job. We’ll tell you what to expect ahead of time so you can plan around it. When we’re done, circuits are clearly labeled so you know what each breaker controls.

How do I know what size panel I need?
It depends on the size of your home or building, the appliances you run and anything you plan to add. We work that out with you during the visit.
Can I stay home while the panel is replaced?
Usually, yes. Power will be off for part of the job, and we’ll let you know the plan ahead of time.
Is a fuse box unsafe?
Not automatically, but many fuse boxes weren’t designed for today’s electrical loads. If yours is overloaded or has been modified, replacing it is often the safer choice. We’ll give you an honest assessment.
